By accessing or using LnLy (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users and visitors of the Service.

2. Description of Service

LnLy provides a free URL shortening service that allows users to create shortened versions of long URLs. The Service includes the ability to generate random short slugs or specify custom slugs. The Service is provided free of charge and does not require user registration.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not use LnLy to:

• Shorten URLs that link to malware, viruses, or any form of malicious software.
• Create links for phishing, scams, or fraudulent activities.
• Distribute illegal content, including but not limited to pirated material, child exploitation material, or content that violates intellectual property rights.
• Engage in spam or mass distribution of unsolicited links.
• Attempt to overload, disrupt, or interfere with the Service infrastructure.
• Circumvent any security measures or access restrictions.

4. Custom Slugs

The Service allows you to create custom slugs for your shortened URLs, subject to the following rules:

• Custom slugs must be between 3 and 30 characters long.
• Only alphanumeric characters, hyphens, and underscores are permitted.
• Certain slugs are reserved for system use and cannot be claimed.
• Slugs are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
• We reserve the right to reclaim or reassign any slug at our discretion.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, its original content, features, and functionality are owned by LnLy and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our explicit written permission.

6. Link Removal

We reserve the right to remove, disable, or modify any shortened URL at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms.
• Links to harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content.
• Abuse reports from third parties.
• Legal requirements or court orders.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time without prior notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LnLy shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, or content accessed through shortened links.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LnLy, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
